Yamaha 44" M405 Console Piano

For over a century, Yamaha has combined a heritage of Japanese artistry with modern innovations in materials and tone. This creates beautiful and extraordinary sounding pianos. Players at all levels of ability are fascinated with the lavish, moving tone and stunning value of these pianos. Yamaha continues to redefine what a piano can be.

Full-sized upright pianos are the tallest within the vertical piano class. Some are even taller than 55 inches! These taller instruments have large soundboards, long strings and are capable of projecting impressive volume. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, many large uprights were manufactured in America, and a fair number of those vintage instruments are readily available. However, caution should be taken when dealing with an instrument of that age. So many unknown factors may have affected its condition- especially when it has sat unmaintained in a poor environment - a basement, a garage or an unheated home or church. Starting with a new, large upright, or used one in top condition, and keeping it properly maintained, will allow it to perform well for many decades to come.

After being thoroughly inspected in our service center, this piano was selected as a viable instrument - one that we offer for sale with confidence. It has undergone a complete regimen of services and tuning by our Registered Piano Technicians to ensure optimal tone and playing condition. What you will not see in our piano showrooms are all the pianos we have rejected.
The piano you purchase from us will be tuned before delivery and includes a one-year full-service warranty. Delivery and service fees vary and are based on location and logistics. Additional service plans and extended warranties are also available. Financing options are available on your entire purchase package. For further details contact Kawai Piano Gallery of Michigan.
